The unemployment rate in Slovakia hit its all-time low in April, the SITA newswire wrote.
The registered unemployment rate was 7.38 percent at the end of April, which is a decrease of 0.21 percentage points from late March. Compared with April 2007, the joblessness rate has dropped 1.12 percentage points, announced the National Labor, Social Affairs and Family Office on May 20. The number of job seekers able to take up jobs immediately was 192,518 at the end of the fourth month. Compared with the previous month, this was 5,493 people fewer. Compared with April 2007, the figure has declined by 28,500 people. SITA
