Justice Minister Štefan Harabin declared the alleged smear campaign against him finally over as parliament rejected a no-confidence motion against him on September 4.

Still furious over the proceedings, Harabin called upon former justice minister Daniel Lipšic (KDH), who initiated the motion, to give up his law license. He added that the only job Lipšic could have at the ministry now was as a floor cleaner.

At one point, Harabin even compared Lipšic to Josef Goebbels, Hitler’s propaganda chief during World War II. He later blamed the comment on the pressure he was facing at the time. TASR
