On a back road near Rusovce, a suburb of Bratislava, an unknown substance exploded on February 14, the SITA newswire was told by Bratislava Police spokesperson Petra Hrášková.

Police recorded the report of the explosion on February 14 shortly after 18:00. Two people were present at the site of the explosion and one had injuries to the left hand and was transported to hospital. The other person was not injured and no damages were reported.

A police patrol inspected the site of the explosion and collected evidence.
