The police say they have thwarted a drug deal worth more than €5 million in eastern Slovakia. During the action, they seized more than 15 kilograms of amphetamine, also known as speed, the SITA newswire wrote.
The amount would be enough to produce more than 400,000 doses, the police said. A 40-year-old Turk, Yalcin Y., was caught red-handed when attempting to sell a larger amount of caffeine-tinged amphetamine. He was carrying a gun for which he had no licence. The man was accused of illegal drug activities and illegal gun possession.
