Smer tops the list for political party assets, SDKÚ is at the bottom

Smer party had the highest level of financial resources in 2010, with assets reaching €4.4 million and liabilities reported at €257,000 at the end of the year, the TASR newswire wrote based on official accounting reports released on August 1. Smer was followed by Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) party with assets of almost €1.3 million and liabilities of €110,000 and by Most-Híd party with assets of €691,000 and liabilities of €28,700. The opposition Slovak National Party (SNS), with assets of €510,000 and liabilities of €46,000, followed; then the Christian Democratic Movement (KDH) with assets of €482,000 and liabilities of €47,000. The poorest parliamentary party was the Slovak Democratic and Christian Union (SDKÚ) with assets reaching €292,000 and liabilities listed at €1.44 million.
