Slovakia records lowest vacancy rate for industrial real estate in central Europe

The Slovak market for industrial real estate showed signs of recovery in the first half of 2011 according to information provided by the Jones Lang LaSalle real estate consultancy to the SITA newswire.
Overall occupancy of industrial real estate in Slovakia totalled 1.015 million square meters as of the end of July and the average vacancy rate stood at only 2.5 percent, the lowest rate in the entire central-European region.
Rent levels for Slovak industrial and logistics A-category real estate ranged between €3.20 and €5.50 per square meter per month, depending on the location and quality of the property.
