Foreign road hauliers will be able to continue using transit tickets instead of paying electronic tolls until the end of 2011. A Transport Ministry regulation prolonging the validity of so-called transit ticketing from September until December 31, 2011, will shortly come into force, the SITA newswire reported.
Operators of vehicles who would otherwise have to pay e-tolls will hence still be able to buy tickets to use twelve transit routes across Slovakia, e-toll system operator SkyToll said, as reported by SITA.
