Judges dismiss complaints against websites concerning Gorilla files

Six legal complaints filed by the co-owner of the Penta financial group, Jaroslav Haščák, and colleague Zoltán Varga against Facebook and two web providers, WebSupport and Tumblr, in connection with the Gorilla file were dismissed or halted by six different judges at Bratislava District I Court who were handling the motions, the TASR newswire reported.

Six legal complaints filed by the co-owner of the Penta financial group, Jaroslav Haščák, and colleague Zoltán Varga against Facebook and two web providers, WebSupport and Tumblr, in connection with the Gorilla file were dismissed or halted by six different judges at Bratislava District I Court who were handling the motions, the TASR newswire reported.

Haščák and Varga can appeal the rulings, TASR wrote. The motions sought to have the Gorilla file removed from the sites. The Gorilla file reportedly documents that Haščák met various political officials at Varga's flat in Vazovova Street in Bratislava.
