12 Jun 2012 Flash News
Prime Minister Robert Fico will take the opportunity of the visit by European Council President Herman van Rompuy to Bratislava on June 12 to present Slovakia's stances on the growth agenda of the European Union and developments in the eurozone, the SITA newswire reported.
These issues will be on the agenda of the European Council's meeting in Brussels later in June, said Beatrice Hudáková, the prime minister’s spokeswoman to SITA, adding that Fico will inform van Rompuy about the Slovak government’s fiscal consolidation package.
Van Rompuy is paying his second official visit to Slovakia. The EU official is scheduled to meet the country’s three most senior constitutional officials. He paid his first visit to Bratislava in July 2011.
