Bratislava hotels score high in survey
31 Aug 2012 Flash News
Quality services and clean rooms are what ranked Bratislava hotels among the best in the world. They placed sixth in a survey carried out by the Hotel.info webpage, which enables booking in 210,00 hotels all over the world, the Sme daily reported.
“We examined the capitals based on comparable evaluations provided by hotel guests,” said Claudia Gerbethova from Hotel.info, as quoted by Sme.
Slovak hotels might receive a higher score thanks to the optimisation of expenses, assumes Peter Jakušík, head of the Bratislava Hotel Association. He added that after the economic crisis, hotel managers focused on employee training and marketing.
The hotel that scored the highest according to the online survey was the Chopin Hotel, which is located close to the cross-country D1 highway, next to the Avion shopping centre. Negative comments pertained only to the noise from the adjacent highway and extremely high taxi fares.
The top three cities in the survey were Tokyo, Warsaw and Zagreb, while Prague placed 13th and Vienna 16th.
