Employment in industry fell by 0.8 percent in July

Employment in industry in Slovakia in July of this year dropped by 0.8 percent in annualised terms. As data published by the Slovak Statistics Office (ŠÚ) shows, the number of employees decreased most notably
Conversely, employment grew in selected market services by 11.3 percent. Employment in information and communication activity went up 8.5 percent, in accommodation by 1.8 percent and in restaurants and pubs by 0.9 percent.
