Autoshow brings new cars to Nitra

On Thursday, September 13, the 19th year of the Autoshow Nitra 2012 car show opened at the Agrokomplex fairground in Nitra. The show, lasting through Sunday, will feature 25 brands of passenger cars, lorries and utility cars, including servicing and garage technology.
“We have filled nine exhibition halls and adjacent spaces,” head of Agrokomplex – Výstavníctvo Nitra company František Ďurkovič told the TASR newswire. “In total, 180 direct exhibitors are represented. In sections for Mercedes-Benz, Citroën, Opel, Subaru, Seat and Fiat, new models will be shown for the first time in Slovakia. After several years, BMWs will be introduced in Slovakia,” he added.
Accompanying events like Cars and Security, Fleet Vehicles, Communal Technology and Cars with Alternative Drive will be presented in the show. Thursday will be the Day of Police, and on Friday (September 14), the Car and Sport and Truck Show will take place. Saturday will be dedicated to women, Ďurkovič concluded.
