President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz will arrive on Tuesday,
September 18, for his first official visit to Slovakia. He will meet with President Ivan Gašparovič, Speaker of the Slovak Parliament Pavol Paška, and Prime Minister Robert Fico. Schulz will also hold talks with the
Slovak Minister of Foreign Affairs Miroslav Lajčák.

"During the visit, the EP's President will deliver a speech in the Slovak Parliament, meet with students, and visit a project financed from the European-Union’s funds," the information office of the European Parliament informed the SITA newswire. In the afternoon, Schulz will take a walk through the streets of the Old Town of the Slovak capital, accompanied by
Bratislava Mayor Milan Ftáčnik.
