The TASR newswire quoted the German DPA newswire as informing on January 24th that during a road check in the city of Fulda in the Hesse region, the German police detained a Slovak who provided an ID card, a passport and a drivers’ license with the birth date of February 30th.
Anyone who gives identification documents stating the date of birth on February 30 – a day which never occurs in the calendar – can be a suspect; but the suspicion increases if a person offers several documents with that date. Hesse police detained the young Slovak, who is being held as a suspect in a case of forging an official document.
