eTax applications now availableFocus short
4 Mar 2013 Compiled by Spectator staff Finances and Advisory
THE FINANCIAL Administration (FA) has gradually made available e-tax applications, i.e. applications enabling the filing of tax returns online for individuals as well as corporate entities, the SITA newswire reported.
Originally, the FA planned to make these available in late January or early February, but this process was postponed to the middle of February. The forms can be found in the eDane section on the FA website.
The FA explained that introduction of the applications occurred gradually and behind schedule due to issues with the supplier, as well as the limited capacities of the administration’s employees who participated in the testing.
Unregistered users can, via these applications, fill in their respective tax forms, then print them and submit personally or by mail to their tax offices. Applications enable authorised users to submit filled-in tax forms electronically.
