Ivana Boórová gets temporary custody of her children
20 Mar 2013 Flash News
Ivana Boórová can now care for her two sons after the Trnava Regional Court dismissed an earlier verdict of the district court in Dunajská Streda, which had refused to grant her the custody over the boys, the SITA newswire reported.
Boórová had asked the court in Dunajská Streda for a preliminary ruling to grant her custody until the end of her divorce proceeding, to adjust the degree of contact that the boys have with their father, as well as to set a maintenance allowance. The court rejected her claims on February 21, ruling that Boórová had not proved that she had created appropriate conditions for the lives of the boys, such as housing and care conditions.
The boys were originally taken away from their parents, who then lived in Great Britain, by British social services. However, a British appeal court allowed the boys to return to Slovakia to live with their grandmother in a ruling delivered on November 16, 2012.
