Slovak workers in Switzerland mistakenly set 200 cars on fire

Three men from Slovakia set fire to 200 cars on September 12 in the Schlieren borough of Zurich. The men aged 27, 30 and 36 were welding the cars when one caught fire and spread to two next and then to the whole garage service.
Police detained the Slovaks; the damage exceeded €1,600 000. Although the flames were several metres high, traffic on the surrounding streets was halted and several people in a nearby shop had to be evacuated, nobody was injured, the Sme daily wrote on September 13.
