Trnava’s PSA plant to halt production this fall
18 Sep 2013 Flash News
THE TRNAVA-based PSA Peugeot Citroën Slovakia car manufacturer is planning to suspend production in its plant for one week in September-October 2013, due to decreased demand, the TASR newswire reported on September 18.
The plant’s management anticipated the suspension.
“The year’s end is always tougher than its first half,” the plant’s spokesperson, Peter Švec, told TASR.
Overall car production in Trnava should, however, match the factory’s plans, and it will produce more cars this year than the 215,000 it manufactured in 2012.
