Economic sentiment continues to improve

ECONOMIC sentiment in the Slovak economy continued increasing in September, reaching 91.2 points, up by 1.4 points compared to the previous month, the SITA newswire reported.
The increase was mainly influenced by growing trust in industry, which increased by 5 percentage points to minus 0.3 points, according to the Statistics Office. On the other hand, trust in construction decreased compared to the previous month by 0.5 points to minus 49 points.
Economic sentiment however continues to lag behind in the year-on-year comparison, with the absolute numbers down by 4 points.
