Bratislava event opens celebrations of EU-accession anniversary

An all-day event on Bratislava's Main Square on April 30 began the celebrations of the tenth anniversary of Slovakia's accession to the European Union. Among those who delivered speeches on the main stage were European Parliament President Martin Schulz, Slovak Foreign and European Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajčák and European Commission Vice-president Maroš Šefčovič.
In May, a European roadshow will visit Prešov, Spišská Nová Ves, Poprad, Nitra, Trenčín and Komárno, said Ingrid Ludvikova from the European Commission Representation in Slovakia.
