Trenčín court decides to extradite model/murder suspect to Spain
8 May 2014 Flash News
The Trenčín Regional Court decided to extradite Slovak swimsuit model Mária Kukučová indicted in the murder of British businessman and former boyfriend Andrew Bush in Spain, spokesman Roman Tarabus told TASR on May 7.
Kukučová was supposed to be interrogated at the Regional Prosecutor’s Office on May 7 but it was postponed on request of her lawyer, the office spokesman Marián Sipavý informed TASR. A new date will be set. Lawyer Matúš Gemeš argued that he was not able to study the proposal of prosecutor to apply extradition custody on Kukučová, as well as the European warrant, neither of which he had received until the day of the interrogation.
The extradition custody does not mean that Kukučová will automatically extradited to Spain, the SITA newswire wrote. If she will not agree, a court will decide on her extradition.
