BRATISLAVA is offering an especially wide array of cultural events this summer, consisting of classical music, jazz, dance, foreign cultures, gastronomy and more. Folklore will also be featured, with the Slovak Folk Festival in early July, where the spotlight will shine on children and youth ensembles.

Choirs and folklore ensembles from the UK, Israel, Russia, Ukraine and Slovakia will compete among each other when presenting their skills to the public in mostly open-air concerts, but also in a church.

Between July 4 and 6, afternoon and evening performances in the Main and Hviezdoslavovo Squares and the Clarissen Church will feature the Wadham College Chapel Choir from the UK; Gittit, Yakinton, Ron Holon from Israel; Russia’s Priva-duška and Zadumka; Ľudovie-nka and Fertuška from Slovakia; and Ukraine’s Allegro.
