FAMOUS Slovak strongman Juraj Barbarič set a new Slovak record for pulling a car. In 14 hours and 10 minutes, he pulled a Peugeot Passenger car weighing more than 1,200 kilograms for a marathon distance of 42 kilometres.
He started at 4:00 on June 29 in Košice, and pulled the car to nearby Seňa and returned back, the TASR newswire wrote.
This year, Košice marks the 90th anniversary of the Košice Peace Marathon, one of the oldest runs in the world.
“With his performance, Juraj helped physically disabled children with Muscular dystrophy [by raising] the amount of €2,014,” Igor Svítok of Slovenské rekordy (Slovak Records) told the TASR newswire.
