SaS refuses to re-admit Droba
13 Aug 2014 Flash News
The Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) party on August 12 decided that it will not re-admit independent MP Juraj Droba who left the party alongside MPs Jozef Kollár, Martin Chren, Daniel Krajcer and Juraj Miškov in 2013.
SaS chairman Richard Sulík said that even though he himself would have let Droba come back, the party’s Republican Council the same day decided otherwise.
“There were informal talks in the summer ... most [SaS members] were against [Droba’s readmission], and I wasn’t willing to quarrel,” said Sulík as quoted by the TASR newswire, refusing to give any specific reasons why Droba was rejected.
