REPRESENTATIVES of the South Korean company Hyundai Dymoss revealed their plans to boost production at the firm’s plant in Slovakia. They should invest altogether €23 million into its existing factory in Žilina, the TASR newswire reported on November 18.
The company serves as a supplier of gearboxes and seats for the Žilina-based carmaker Kia Motors Slovakia. It plans to start redesigning part of its factory in Žilina by the end of this year, with the planned opening of the new premises scheduled for autumn of 2015.
The expansion of production at the plant will result in the creation of an additional 280 jobs, TASR wrote.
The information was revealed after meeting of Slovak Economy Minister Pavol Pavlis and the representatives of the firm during Pavlis’ business trip to South Korea.
