Former head of the private radio station Radio Expres, Eva Babitzová, who joined the opposition Slovak Democratic and Christian Union (SDKÚ) only two months ago, is already leaving.
Babitzová originally wanted to become the deputy chairperson of SDKÚ.
“If there is still is [a party] to leave from… then yes, [I will leave],” she said in an interview with the Sme daily.
Babitzová plans to found a new centre-right party but declined to provide any details. She said, however, that she would welcome members of SDKÚ. She denied leading talks with another recent SDKÚ renegade, Martin Fedor.
