SLOVAKIA has extended the network of its consulates in Sweden. Petrer Burian, the state secretary of the Slovak Foreign Affairs Ministry, opened an honorary consulate in the Swedish town of Lulea last November, the SITA newswire reported.
The office, led by honorary consul Jonas Lundström, will operate in the regions of Norrbotten, Västerbotten, Västernorrland and Jämtland. After the embassy in Stockholm and honorary consulates in Malmö and Götteborg, it will be the fourth place where Slovakia will be officially represented.
