Slovakia lost its first EURO 2016 qualifications match

THE SLOVAK national football team lost all three points for the first time in EURO 2016 qualifications losing to Spain on September 5.

The match ended up with result 0:2 for Spain. Spanish goals were scored by Jordi Alba and Andrés Iniesta.

Slovakia has won all its qualification matches thus far, defeating Ukraine (1:0), Spain (2:1), Belarus (3:1), Macedonia (2:0), Luxembourg (3:0), and Macedonia (2:1). Slovakia ranks 15th position in the FIFA World Rankings while Spain ranks 11th.
