B-S Vrba Infantry Log Cabin

Between Bratská Street and the D2 highway, Bratislava – Petržalka.

Programme  (11:00-23:00): View of the history of the fortification of the borough of Petržalka. Visitors will be transported back in time to the period of the first Czechoslovak Republic (1918 – 1939). They will hear the story of the B-S 6 VRBA shelter – one of Czechoslovakia’s oldest borderline fortifications. Guides dressed in historical uni forms, tasting of genuine military stew.

Programme (10:00-23:00): Collection object of the 2016 Night of Museums and Galleries in this museum will be collection objects of folk art: Pastoralism – geleta (wooden buckets) for bryndza (typical Slovak processed sheep cheese), cheese forms, črpák (carved bowls) for žinčica (sour sheep milk).
