SWING: Silvester with the Bratislava Hot Serenaders – A swing and jazz atmosphere will be created by an orchestra named the Bratislava Hot Serenaders during the Silvester evening. The ensemble is led by Juraj Bartoš, who specialises in authentic hot-jazz music from the twenties and thirties of the last century. The program for the evening also includes the Gramophon Brothers. OUTDOOR: Polar bears – The Winter swimming competition in the Danube organised by the Civic Association Ľadové Medvede, Bratislava/ Polar Bears, Bratislava is being held for the 19th time. EXHIBITION: Cosmos Discovery – The world exhibition of cosmonautics named Cosmos Discovery presents hundreds of exhibits dedicated to firsts in space flight and visitors can get to know the stories about the people who crossed the border of our atmosphere. TRAINING: Zumba in English Every Tuesday – Not a dance lesson, but rather a party which the organisers call the Zumba dance. Highlights of the year

BALLET: Swan Lake - the ballet choreographed by the world-famous St. Petersburg Festival Ballet will visit three European cities including Bratislava, where they will come for the first time.
