PARTY: Indie music – The Indietronica event includes an invite to the party of two resident DJs Diablo & Krto with music from the 80s, but also other genres such as indie, glamour and electropop and a four-member indierock group Talkshow, that will showcase songs from their upcoming album. DANCE: Burlesque – This is an introductory course to the art of burlesque, a dance that fully supports feminity. Includes 10 lessons and also the Ladies' Shake Off and Ladies' Night events. CLASSICAL MUSIC: Valentine’s Day Concert – A performance by the Slovak Chamber Orchestra led by Ewald Danel with Miriam Rodriguez-Brüllová playing guitar, will be dedicated to the day for people in love. The program includes oeuvres by musicians such as Antonio Vivaldi, Niccolo Paganini and Ľubica Malachovská Čekovská. CHAMBER MUSIC FESTIVAL: Convergence - The International festival of chamber music named Konvergencie/ Convergence presents the world famous string ensemble, the Jerusalem Quartet, who will perform oeuvres by Hungarian composer Béla Bartók including his set of six quartets. RECITATION: Poetry Slam – This is another event of the English Poetry Slam in Bratislava, which is organised by a student of the LEAF Academy and the creator of Fountain Poetry, Florian Niederseer. GASTRONOMY: Vegan Dinner – This event is suitable for everyone who would like to try various vegan dishes, which don't include meat, eggs, dairy products, honey or other animal substances. SCREENING: Anthropoid - This film is based on the true story of Operation Anthropoid, the World War II mission to assassinate SS General Reinhard Heydrich, which was an important episode in Slovak and Czech history. COURSE: The spine and yoga – This eight-week long yoga course is dedicated to those who have problems with their spine or feel pain there. It also offers knowledge about the anatomy of the spine, correct body posture and practical yoga positions. The course will be led by yoga instructor and physical therapist Andrea Minster. FAIR: Interbeauty/ Wedding Fair/ Child and Family – The 32nd year of Interbeauty brings an overview of the beautification products and services available on the Slovak market. At the same time two other events are being held – the 12th year of the Svadobný veľtrh / Wedding Fair and the 5th year of the fair with a wide variety of services and products for child and family. EXHIBITION: Archive of 110 selected press photos - Krzysztof Gierałtowski is a Polish photographer who has dedicated more than 30 years to taking portraits of personalities from Polish culture, science, politics and intelligence. His oeuvres can be seen in the exhibition named the Ring, which includes 110 selected archival black and white press photos of chosen people. GUIDED TOUR: Sunday Rest - The exhibition Dream × Reality | Art & Propaganda 1939 – 1945, maps various visual aspects of the Slovak State, which is one of the most controversial chapters of modern Slovak history. Lecturer Miroslava Urbanová will present the paradoxes of artistic operations at the time, the issue of propaganda, and other topics of the exhibition through various types of art media. SHOW: Ceasar Millan - Kynolog and dog trainer Ceasar Millan will visit Bratislava within his European tour called the Ceasar Millan Live Tour 2017. COMEDY SHOW: Michael Winslow – the Popular US comedian (Police Academy, Space Balls, Gremlins) will perform in Bratislava, bringing his show full of sound imitations, music, storytelling, and even a special version of the final battle scene from Star Wars. SHOW: Cirque du Soleil – The well-known international artistic group, Cirque du Soleil, comes again to Slovakia and for the first time they present their seven performances of the story named Varekai. CONCERT: Vanessa-Mae - British violin virtuoso Vanessa-Mae comes back to Bratislava after ten years and her performance will be accompanied by 40 Czech musicians from the Bohemian Symphony Orchestra, Prague including vocalists. CONCERT: Andrea Bocelli – One of the greatest artists of Opera, Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, has recorded 15 studio albums and three Greatest hits albums over his more than 25-year-long career. The holder of the Golden Globe in the category of song for The Prayer in the animated film The Magic Sword, who last year released his most recent album named Cinema, comes to Bratislava.
