SWING EVENING: Swing Valentine – The program of the event includes a live performance by the swing orchestra, Fats Jazz Band playing original music of the 20s and 40s on vintage musical instruments, free vintage photo corner with professional photographer and dance workshop. PARTY: Carnival – The coming season of masked balls brings the Internationals Bratislava Carnival party, which offers entertainment, music, dance and the chance to meet mysterious people in masks which will be provided for free if you don‘t have one. CLASSICAL MUSIC: Valentine’s Day Concert – A performance by the Slovak Chamber Orchestra led by Ewald Danel with Miriam Rodriguez-Brüllová playing guitar, will be dedicated to the day for people in love. The program includes oeuvres by musicians such as Antonio Vivaldi, Niccolo Paganini and Ľubica Malachovská Čekovská. CHAMBER MUSIC FESTIVAL: Jeruslam Quartet - The International festival of chamber music named Konvergencie/ Convergence is joined this year by the world famous string ensemble, the Jerusalem Quartet, who will perform oeuvres by Hungarian composer Béla Bartók. COURSE: The spine and yoga – This eight-week long yoga course is dedicated to those who have problems with their spine or feel pain there. It also offers knowledge about the anatomy of the spine, correct body posture and practical yoga positions. The course will be led by yoga instructor and physical therapist Andrea Minster. FAIR: Interbeauty/ Wedding Fair/ Child and Family – The 32nd year of Interbeauty brings an overview of the beautification products and services available on the Slovak market. At the same time two other events are being held – the 12th year of the Svadobný veľtrh / Wedding Fair and the 5th year of the fair with a wide variety of services and products for child and family. EXHIBITION: Archive of 110 selected press photos - Krzysztof Gierałtowski is a Polish photographer who has dedicated more than 30 years to taking portraits of personalities from Polish culture, science, politics and intelligence. His oeuvres can be seen in the exhibition named the Ring, which includes 110 selected archival black and white press photos of chosen people. EXHIBITION: Poetical art for a disturbed era – This exhibition presents oeuvres by Hubert Wurth, Luxemburg painter and artist, who currently lives in Vienna. SHOW: Ceasar Millan - Kynolog and dog trainer Ceasar Millan will visit Bratislava within his European tour called the Ceasar Millan Live Tour 2017. COMEDY SHOW: Michael Winslow – the Popular US comedian (Police Academy, Space Balls, Gremlins) will perform in Bratislava, bringing his show full of sound imitations, music, storytelling, and even a special version of the final battle scene from Star Wars. SHOW: Cirque du Soleil – The well-known international artistic group, Cirque du Soleil, comes again to Slovakia and for the first time they present their seven performances of the story named Varekai. The holder of the Golden Globe in the category of song for The Prayer in the animated film The Magic Sword, who last year released his most recent album named Cinema, comes to Bratislava.
