CONCERT: Parov Stelar – This Austrian musician comes again with his band to their neighbouring country. Parov Stelar, known as the founder of electro swing will be in Bratislava as part of his Burning Spider tour, which is dedicated to his new eponymous album. CONCERT: Phil Rudd – The famous drummer from AC/DC comes to Slovakia for the first time during the Head Job European Tour 2017. MEETING: John Boyne – The Irish novelist and author of the famous book, The Boy in the Stripped Pyjamas comes to Bratislava. COURSE: Drawing course (in English) – Portrait drawing is suitable for everyone from beginners to intermediates and includes three, four-hour sessions on the basics of realistic portrait drawing. MUSEUM/ GALLERY: The Night of Museums and Galleries - Once a year, museums and galleries in Slovakia are open to the public during the evening and night hours. Visitors can see exhibitions and accompanying programmes. The Bratislava Region offers venues such as the Slovak National Museum, the Trade Museum Bratislava, the Bratislava City Museum, the Slovak National Gallery, the Gallery Nedbalka and lot of others. EXHIBITION: Images of Women in the Mass media – Bratislava City Gallery presents an exhibition by Dorota Sadovská, that displays female images in various forms and as part of visual culture. EXHIBITION: Take a Seat – The exhibition presents retro chairs created by famous Slovak designers from the 50‘s to the 80‘s redesigned by students of an Atelier of textile production. EXHIBITION: Works from Bielsko-Biała - An association based in Bielsko-Biała, southern Poland, which is a part of the Association of Polish Artists and Painters opens an exhibition in Bratislava of the most recent oeuvres by 40 artists – painters, ceramists, sculptors, graphic artists and artists working with utility art.
