The Bratislava main bus station successfully moved into new, temporary, premises on Bottova Street. This is just few minutes from the current bus station of Mlynské Nivy, on the opposite side of the street. The bus station will remain here during the next three years, i.e. until the developer HB Reavis builds the brand new Stanica Nivy station in place of the current one.

The times of arrivals and departures of the buses remain the same, but the numbers of platforms from which they will depart have changed. In total, there are 34 platforms. Electronic tables should help to orientate passengers, informed Eva Vozárová, spokesperson of Slovak Lines, the bus carrier and operator of the bus station.

The accessibility of the bus station has not changed. The stop for public transport has remained unchanged. It is possible to get to the station on foot or by bicycle from Mlynské Nivy or Chalupkova streets. Cars can only come from Chalupkova street. In front of the building of the bus station there is a stand for taxis.

The developer will start pulling the old bus station down in the coming days. The new bus station will be a combination of a bus terminal, shopping centre and an office tower and should be complete in 2020. The price tag is €345 billion million.
