International volunteers will work in Slovakia during the summer

Nearly 70 volunteers will take part in several activities in Slovakia.

Slovakia will welcome 68 international volunteers this summer, the not-for-profit organisation INEX Slovakia wrote in a press release. They will spend one to three weeks volunteering in different regions across the country.

Many of them will come from Brazil, Taiwan, Turkey, Denmark, Germany and Italy, as well as other countries.

During eight volunteer work camps held over the summer, they will among other things help renovate castles in Brekov and Šebeš (both in Prešov Region), and Uhrovec (Trenčín Region).

“The first international volunteer work camp was held after World War I,” Miroslava Zváčová of INEX Slovakia said.
