Slovakia successful in drawing EU funds

OF THE 10 new EU member states, Slovakia is the fourth most successful in terms of drawing EU funds.

As of February 3, Slovak companies and other entities had applied for Sk166.9 billion (€4.5 billion) in EU funds, of which Sk54.6 billion (€1.5 billion) had been approved.

Slovenia led the EU newcomers, followed by Estonia and Latvia, the Pravda daily wrote.
