KDH Council approves list of candidates

ON MARCH 4, the Christian Democrat (KDH) party decided on its list of candidates for the general election on June 17. The KDH Council, which met in Trnava, put party chairman Pavol Hrušovský in the first place on the list, ahead of vice-chairmen Vladimír Palko, Daniel Lipšic, Július Brocka, Martin Fronc and Rudolf Bauer.

Seventh and eighth places are being reserved for KDH caucus chairman Pavol Minárik and the KDH's longest-serving MP, František Mikloško, who has been in parliament since 1989. Four out of the top 20 candidates are women. TASR wrote.
