ON MARCH 4, the Christian Democratic Movement (KDH) party decided on its list of candidates for the general election on June 17. The KDH Council, which met in Trnava, put party chairman Pavol Hrušovský in first place on the list, ahead of vice-chairmen Vladimír Palko, Daniel Lipšic, Július Brocka, Martin Fronc and Rudolf Bauer.
Seventh and eighth places were reserved for KDH caucus chairman Pavol Minárik and the KDH's longest-serving MP, František Mikloško, who has been in parliament since 1989. Four of the top 20 candidates are women, the TASR newswire wrote.
