A SLOVAK diplomatic vehicle in Baghdad was a target in an attack that took place close to the Slovak embassy building yesterday afternoon.

An armed attacker fired at the car around 400 meters from the embassy.

"The attacker was disarmed. No Slovak was killed nor injured," Slovak Foreign Ministry spokesman Juraj Tomaga told the Pravda daily.
