Election results on June 18

ACCORDING to Peter Mach, the head of the Slovak Statistics Bureau, the results of the June 17 general election will be known by the morning of June 18, and the names of the MPs later that evening. Meanwhile, preliminary results will start to roll in by midnight on the day of the vote, June 17.

According to the TASR news agency, Slovaks will vote at around 5,900 polling stations across the country.

In the June 17 elections, for the first time in the history of independent Slovakia, it will be possible for Slovak citizens living abroad to vote by regular mail as well.
