NEWS BRIEFS

Court decisions now on the Internet

DECISIONS by district and regional courts involving civil and business cases will be published online as of May 26.

Justice Minister Lucia Žitňanská said her ministry has launched the first phase of a project after two years of preparation.

Court decisions in administrative cases will begin publication online before the end of this year, but criminal cases probably won't make it before next year.

The business and civil database currently contains around 17,000 decisions issued since last December. The litigants' personal data is not included. The database is available at justice.gov.sk
