The Pontis Foundation presented the sixth Via Bona Slovakia - Award for Socially Responsible Companies and Business People on May 25, 2006. The event brought together some 120 business representatives and representatives of non-governmental organisations, media, advertising industry and culture. The winner of the Main Award for Large Corporations is Orange Slovakia while the Main Award for Small - and Medium - Size Enterprises went to ANASOFT APR. The advertising agency, SORIA & GREY, was given the Award for Long - Term Partnership and the winner of the Award for Support of Public - Benefit Activities in a Region is Heineken Slovakia. The Award for Courage to Support Innovative Projects won the company Západoslovenská energetika. This year the Honorable Mention for Media Contribution was awarded to Katarína Meščanová, journalist of the Slovak Television. Altogether 49 nominations were assessed against explicitly defined criteria and evaluated by an independent 10-member committee.
