541 Slovaks vote from abroad

THE STATISTICS Bureau added 541 votes from Slovaks living abroad to the results of the June 17 parliamentary election.

The count showed 265 voted for PM Mikuláš Dzurinda's Slovak Democratic and Christian Union and 73 voted for Smer. The Christian Democrats got 49 votes.

This was the first time ever Slovaks living abroad were able to vote.
