Mercer chart: Bratislava most expensive

IN A REGULAR listing of the most expensive cities in the world for entrepreneurs, Bratislava has again made it into the top 50, placing 48th.

The chart, which is prepared by Mercer Human Resources Consulting, this year ranked Bratislava higher than Prague, Warsaw or Budapest, the Hospodárske noviny daily wrote.

Housing prices in Bratislava are higher because the supply of apartments, especially at the luxury level, in the city centre is lower than in Prague, given that Bratislava's Old Town is smaller than Prague's city centre.
