Reader feedback: No such thing

RE: Fico rejected by European socialists, Volume 12, Number 26, July 3-July 9

There is no such thing as a standard European Socialist. This group comprises of the centre-right Labour Party in England all the way to the rabidly fanatic Communists of Southern Italy.

And the latter would throw a screaming hissy-fit at the slightest suggestion of working with nationalists. But who the heck is Europe to dictate the political make up of the sovereign Slovak state anyway? I expected the election to be the primary expression of will in this matter. But the Stalinist EU never did like "its" people having a say in their decisions.
