DDP ING in liquidation

SUPPLEMENTARY pension insurer Prvá Doplnková Dôchodková Poisťovňa (DDP) ING entered liquidation on July 1, 2006.

The ING Group allowed DDP ING to enter liquidation. The ING Group acquired VSP Tatry, the company that administered Prvá Doplnková Dôchodková Poisťovňa (PDDP) Tatry-Sympatia in the second quarter of 2005, SITA wrote.

ING group bought VSP Tatry from TBIH Financial Services Group for about €35 million (Sk1.36 billion). Supplementary pension company (DDS) ING Tatry-Sympatia was launched as a legal successor of PDDP Tatry-Sympatia as of February 1, 2006. ING Group operates on the Slovak supplementary savings market through DDS ING Tatry-Sympatia.
