Galis appointed commissioner for youth and sport

SLOVAKIA's national football team coach and ruling Smer party MP Dušan Galis was appointed the cabinet's commissioner for youth and sport on September 20.

The position has not existed until now.

Galis will report to the Education Ministry, and will work closely with the State Care for Sport section at the Government Office.

The new commissioner will be engaged chiefly in drafting new projects and new laws in the field of youth and sport, and in setting up a new sports administration system.
