Siemens group in Slovakia sees Sk33 billion turnover

SIEMENS, which is represented in Slovakia by 13 companies, saw a turnover of Sk33 billion in the last business year of 2005/2006. Director of Siemens in Slovakia, Peter Kollárik, said that this represents a year-on-year increase of 18.7 percent. The business year of 2005/2006 lasted from October 1, 2005, to September 30, 2006.

Kollárik said that all Siemens companies in Slovakia recorded profits while the average profitability rate was about 6-7 percent of the turnover.

Exports of Siemens companies from Slovakia totalled Sk12.15 billion during the given period. Cumulative investments of Siemens in Slovakia climbed to Sk13.7 billion.
