Bratislava airport tightens rules

M.R. ŠTEFÁNIK Airport in Bratislava has adopted new security rules for passengers that went into effect on December 4.

In addition to restrictions passed November 6, which concerned the amount of liquids allowed on aircraft, further measures limiting the size of hand luggage have been introduced.

Hand luggage allowed in the aircraft cabin must be no larger than 56 x 45 x 25 cm. These dimensions include handles, straps, pockets, wheels and any other external parts, as well as the contents of the luggage. On top of this, only one piece of hand luggage is now allowed.

A laptop computer - individually checked by security - can also be taken on board.
