OKS submits motion against health minister

Civic Conservative Party (OKS) members Ondrej Dostál and Juraj Petrovič have submitted a motion to the parliamentary Conflict of Interest Committee against Health Minister Ivan Valentovič.

According to Dostál, the motion, submitted on April 10, concerns the way the minister's photo and an interview with him were used in an advert for the state-owned health insurer, Všeobecná Zdravotná Poisťovna.

The advert was published in the Sme daily on April 5.

Dostál said that private insurance companies were disadvantaged by the minister's endorsement.
